Description
Dovin basals are genetically produced creatures that have the ability to affect gravity. They are employed by the Yuuzhan Vong for all manner of things, including propulsion, shielding, interdiction, and even as an offensive weapon by ripping the shields from starfighters. One large dovin basal destroyed the planet of Sernpidal by pulling its moon down on top of it.
